The (Windshield) Seal is Broken

I can see clearly now - I got my windshield replaced

Replacing a windshield might not be the first upgrade that comes to mind when thinking about improving your car, but my recent experience with my 2014 Toyota Prius proved otherwise. After noticing a persistent sealant leak that caused some minor dripping on the driver side, I got a little worried...

The Replacement Process

Like always I chose A1 Toyota in Amity based on their reputation for honesty, consistency and quality service. Their team was transparent from the start and unfortuntely, I needed to bite the bullet and replace the windshield. It turns out that beneath the seal, all on the frame was rust and mold. This definitely explained the leak. After all, it's an old car.

The replacement itself was smooth and efficient. The technicians carefully removed the old windshield, cleaned the frame by grinding down the rust and installed the new glass with precision. They shared before and after photos and I was truly impressed.
